PAVE hermetic seals and bi-directional and will seal both pressure and vacuum in either or both directions. For pressures above 300 psi (20 bar), please check with the sales engineer if changing the pressure direction shown on the drawing.
PAVE-Mate® II hermetic electrical connectors are pre-wired on one side as customer’s require with a mating connector plug supplied for the other side of the pressure or vacuum bulkhead. Either side can be configured as required by the customer in a variety of hermetic connector mounting styles including VS or mil-spec jam nut o-ring face seal, ISO QF KF NW DN CF ASA vacuum flanges, NPT, SO straight thread/o-ring, piston o-ring seal, laser weld or custom designed flanges for low pressures and high (+1k psi) pressures and vacuums (up to 10^-8 Torr), with use between -200C to 150C depending upon the o-ring compound selected. Helium leak rates are typically between 10^7cc/sec and 10^9cc/sec. Special order mating connector plugs for 26482 connectors also rated for either IP67 or IP68 in mated condition are also available.
Any standard commercial or mil-spec connector version can be specified, including all contact arrangements based on MIL-DTL-38999, -26482 and -5015, miniature Glenair Mighty Mouse, Omnetics plus all others. All hermetic feedthru connectors use gold or silver plated copper alloy contacts and insulated plated stranded copper conductor wires for maximum electrical performance and amperage rating.
